Savannah's Downtown Neighborhood Association (DNA) was organized in the 1970s by a group of downtown residents to protect and preserve Savannah's unique architectural heritage and to enhance the quality of life for residents in the Historic Landmark District.

Those purposes remain as vital today as ever. DNA mobilizes volunteers, raises funds, participates in the City's Boards and Commissions -- and in Savannah's overall public affairs -- to support these objectives. We are non-partisan, we fully support compatible development in the Historic District, and we encourage more diversity among downtown residents.

The annual Holiday Tour of Homes, linked to this page, is our one major fund-raising event. Generous residents open their private homes to our tour guests and serve as docents and other support staff. All tour proceeds are given back to the downtown community as grants which fund worthy organizations and projects supporting our goals.

All residents of the Historic Landmark District are encouraged to join us. Membership is also open to anyone, anywhere, who appreciates Savannah and shares our goals. Dues are only $25 per year! You can join on line, or by mailing in a check. Please visit our "JOIN DNA" page for full details.
