City celebrates Earth Day with launch of Anti-Litter Campaign
What: On Earth Day (Wednesday, April 22), Savannah launches the first comprehensive citywide public-private collaboration to fight litter in the community. The campaign’s goal is to curb littering in Savannah by 50 percent over the next year through a strategic education and social media outreach initiative. Litter is costly, unsightly and growing quickly out of control. Join us at this event to learn more about how the Savannah community can get involved and how everyone can become a member of our #LitterCrew.
WHEN: Wednesday, April 22 at 10 a.m.
