Subject: Sheriff St. Lawerence's Funeral

The following is an excerpt form an Email sent by Lt. David Gay regarding our assistance with the funeral for Sheriff St. Lawrence:

Below are the parking plans for Sheriff Al St. Lawrence’s funeral scheduled for this Wednesday, December 2nd at 1:00 PM at the Cathedral. This will impact on-street parking on Abercorn & Lincoln Streets.

We have been told that a large number of VIPs are expected to attend the Sheriff’s funeral. This includes the Governor, along with a large number of sitting & former State Law Enforcement, Sheriffs and Police Chiefs.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are taking Lincoln & Abercorn Streets from Liberty to Gordon Street. On-street parking on these streets will be restricted beginning the night before when it’s posted. With the exception of roadways adjacent to the squares, parking on the side streets will not be restricted.

Beginning at 11:00 AM Abercorn & Lincoln between Liberty & Gordon will be closed. Depending on need, double parking may take place on the northbound side of Abercorn, and possibly Lincoln. However, space will be left for emergency vehicles.

As I get additional information, I will pass along to you.
