About the Neighborhood Initiatives and
Community Partners Grant Program
The DNA provides grants to community organizations that have an impact on the greater downtown area, particularly those that help or enrich the residential quality of life. Each application goes through a review process overseen by the DNA Board of Directors which makes the selections. The solicitation for grant applications typically starts in February and the announcement of recipients takes place in May.
These grants are made possible through the funds raised by the annual Holiday Tour of Homes and Inns.

Apply for a 2027 Grant
The Downtown Neighborhood Association (DNA) Grant Program provides funding to organizations and initiatives that strengthen and enrich Savannah’s downtown community. Grant funding is made possible through proceeds from the annual Holiday Tour of Homes & Inns, an event that celebrates the character of our city while supporting meaningful work throughout the downtown area.
The Grant Program is designed to encourage a wide range of projects that enhance community life, preserve Savannah’s unique character, and support those who live, work, and serve downtown. Organizations are encouraged to apply whether they are first-time applicants, returning applicants, or have received funding in the past.
Each year, the DNA is proud to reinvest Tour proceeds into programs that reflect the spirit, creativity, and care that define our neighborhoods.
Applications for the 2027 DNA Grant Program will be accepted through Friday, February 26, 2027. We encourage interested organizations to apply early. If you have any questions about the program or your application please email grants@savannahdna.org for assistance.
