From the Immediate Past President:
As many of you are aware, I have resigned as the President of the DNA effective June 5. Having been active with the Board for the past 10 years I decided it was time for me to make a change. I am not leaving the DNA, nor am I stepping away from advocating for residents in the future. I will continue to support the Board on issues with the city council and with improving the management of tourism.
As a result of my resigning, the Board voted to have Vice President Paul Cobet serve the remaining year of my two-year term as President. The Board also voted Nancy Radke as the new Vice President. I ask that you give them the same support shown to me for the past four years.
I want to thank everyone for their support of the DNA and me as the President. As I have said many times, we are an effective neighborhood association because we care, are active, and committed to preserving the quality of life and historic preservation within our community.
My thanks to you all.
David McDonald
Immediate Past President
Downtown Neighborhood Association Savannah, GA Inc.
