From the President:

Talmadge Bridge

Just a reminder about the meeting this week with the Georgia Department of Transportation concerning the Talmadge Bridge.  You can attend the Open House scheduled for March 13 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Coastal Georgia Center, 305 Fahm St.  For those of you unable to attend the meeting you can leave your comments here

Police Crime Map

The Board has received several comments from members concerning the link to the Savannah Police Department Crime Map located on the left side of the newsletter under Neighborhood Watch.  The link is currently not working as the data transfer to the police records system from the 9-1-1 Center is inoperable.  Once the police department's records management system has been upgraded the link will be reconnected.  Until that time there is no data to be displayed.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The DNA will once again have a float in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Unlike last year, seating is limited so we are asking folks to walk with us in the parade to represent DNA. Include your friends and family. Your participation can be for a few blocks or the whole route. We need some help from some of you with carrying a lightweight banner as well as signs along the route.  If you can help with this, please let us know by signing up on the google sheet. Link below. Either way, please sign up so we can gauge participation. Again you can jump in anywhere along the route. We're going to start at Huntingdon and Lincoln Streets. We promise you will enjoy the atmosphere as well as the friendship of the parade goers.

David McDonald

President

Downtown Neighborhood Association Savannah, GA Inc.
