From the President:


I want to thank those of you who responded to our request to send an email or a letter to the Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC) concerning the request by a developer to remove 501 E Bay St. from the short-term vacation

rental (STVR) overlay. As previously stated, each of our wards is over the caps for STVRs, and we do not want any additional non-managed units. The hearing for this request is tomorrow at 1:30 at the MPC, 112 E State St.


Early voting for the Chatham County Commission District 2 seat ends this Friday, September 15. Election day is next Tuesday, September 19.


We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at our monthly meeting where we will hear from Police Chief Lenny Gunther. The meeting will be held at the Coastal Georgia Center, 305 Fahm St. Social starts at 5:30 with

the presentation begins at 6 pm. Please register below so we can have an accurate count of attendees.
