Holiday Tour of Homes

Tickets for the tour go on sale Tuesday morning at 8:00 am and can be purchased here. Move fast because they sell out quickly. The tour takes place on Dec. 14, 10 am to 5 pm.

The online docent signup system will begin in late Sept or early Oct. An announcement will be in the newsletter once it’s up and running. 

President Street Railroad Crossing Elimination Study

Just a reminder that there is a meeting this Wednesday concerning a study by Chatham County on eliminating the railroad crossing on E President St.  The meeting will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 at 112 East State St, inside the Mendoza Hearing Room. 

Octane Lounge

On Thursday, Sept. 12, the Show Cause hearing concerning the revocation of the alcohol license for the Octane Lounge was continued until Oct. 10.  The Board will continue to monitor this issue until its resolution.  Until the date of the hearing, the alcohol license has been suspended and the business closed.

September Membership Meeting

Just a reminder that our next monthly meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 6 pm.  The social period will begin at 5:30. As usual the meeting will be held at the Coastal Georgia Center, 305 Fahm St.  Our presenter that night is Chief of Police Lenny Gunther. 

The Board looks forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday night.
